ENCOUNTER WITH GIZA LAGARCE

 

Tell us a bit of you Giza, who are you? I'm a 22 year old full time model from Los Angeles. Cat obsessor and jack of all trades but master of none...

 

When did you first start working as a professional model? I went full time when I graduated from high school.

 

Do you remember your first shooting? I don't remember how old I was but I was pretty young. Didn't take it too seriously back then...

 

Wich brands you worked for? I've worked for many, lots of different clothing lines. The most recent that come to mind would be Adidas, W.W.D. , Drop Dead Clothing, 10th Tribe, Forever 21, Coca-Cola, Nike, and then some...

 

Do you know France? France? As in the country? (laughing) Yes, my father is from Paris and I have a bit of family out there. Haven't visited in a while but planning to soon!

 

In two words, what inspires you? Bettering myself.

 

Tell us a bit of your career, what's the favorite project you worked on? I worked on a Black Eyed Peas music video once, that was really lots of fun, then I shot in a McDonald's commercial which was pretty cool.

 

What fashion means to you? Fashion is a huge influence on my life and my surrounding. It's always changing, moving and it's exciting to be a part of it everyday.

 

Unhealthy curiosity, How to pass a regular working day in studio? Bump it hard? I'm Trying to; making friends

with people on set and blast fun music that will keep everyone pumped up!

 

What is your favorite place to work? Outdoor shoots are awesome if it's a cool location, and nice day of course. Otherwise, indoors with a cool crew and an interesting set will do just fine!

 

What were you doing Saturday night? I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow?
